The Hong Kong Tourism Authority jointly planned with KB Kookmin Card and released the “KB Kookmin Travelers Check Card Hong Kong Edition.”
Produced to commemorate the first anniversary of the birth of the Hong Kong Ocean Park twin pandas, the card features the benefits of major partners such as △KB National Mastercard △ Klook △ Cathay Pacific Airlines △ Hong Kong Ocean Park △ Hyatt Centric Hong Kong △ Eaton Hong Kong △ Cold Ham Hong Kong △ Hari Hong Kong △ East Hong Kong.
The card plate featured the twin pandas, the lucky symbols of Hong Kong, and the city’s iconic elements.
Through the intense red and sensuous “Hong Kong HONG KONG” lettering, which symbolizes Hong Kong’s vibrant energy, it is not just a means of payment, but a souvenir that can preserve the excitement and memories of travel.
To commemorate the launch of the card, it also provides a variety of events and privileges for new card issuance and users to enjoy travel to Hong Kong.
Through a lottery for customers who have newly issued the card and paid more than $1 by the 30th of this month, △1st place (1 person) Cathay Pacific Hong Kong round-trip tickets, 2 Hyatt Centric Hong Kong 2 nights accommodation tickets, and Ocean Park tickets △ 2nd place (2 people) Ocean Park tickets △ 3rd place (3 people) Klook 50,000 won vouchers will be presented.
Two of the customers who used the card more than 1 million won in Hong Kong will be drawn and two round-trip tickets to Hong Kong and a one-night stay at Eaton Hong Kong Hotel will be provided.
In addition, a round-trip ticket to Cathay Pacific Hong Kong will be presented through a lottery for customers with a card usage of 200,000 won or more every month until August 2026.
There are also plenty of benefits for card members that can only be enjoyed in Hong Kong until December 31. Card holders can enjoy a variety of travel-friendly benefits from transportation, tourism, hotels and dining throughout the entire trip to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong eSIM (500MB) will be presented to the first 3,000 people. If you pay for Cathay Pacific Hong Kong round-trip tickets, you can get a 5% immediate discount within the limit of up to 100,000 won.
When making a reservation through Klook, the hotel will offer an immediate discount of up to 90,000 won, and a one-way ticket to the Airport Railroad (AEL) and a Victoria Peak Tram 1+1 promotion will also be offered.
Discounts and 1+1 events will be applied when tickets to Hong Kong Ocean Park are purchased at Klook by October 31, 2025, and twin panda luggage tags will be presented to 200 people on a first-come, first-served basis with a 20% discount on on-site payment from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
