It’s the most wonderful time of the year for a deal, now that the whole month of November is basically Black Friday. After years of covering the shopping holiday as the Strategist’s fashion writer, I can say that this year’s early Black Friday fashion deals are great. For example, Everlane’s is already its Black Friday sale (up to 50 percent off), while this year’s Lands’ End deal is the same as last year’s, with up to 60 percent off sitewide. From Banana Republic Factory to Outdoor Voices, it really seems that just about every retailer is having a sale of some kind now. Here, I rounded up every single early fashion deal worth shopping. Banana Republic doesn’t have an early Black Friday sale yet, but its outlet store, Banana Republic Factory, does: 60 percent off everything, with an additional 20 percent off at checkout. If you only buy one thing, let it be a pair of Haydens (a Strategist reader-favorite work pants). I can’t remember the last time they were $29.
Ban.do email subscribers get early access to its Black Friday sale: 35 percent off sitewide with code ITSHERE. But the bigger deal might be all the Le Bon Shoppe that’s marked down 25 percent.
Catbird’s biggest sale of the year is here, with 20 percent off nearly everything. Anything fine and shiny would make a great gift, whether it’s the tiniest alphabet charm in diamonds or an engraved signet ring.
Everlane’s early Black Friday sale is its Black Friday sale: up to 50 percent off everything. The Strategist staff can’t get enough of its basics, be it a high V-neck cashmere sweater or a turtleneck that’s described as “tight enough that it doesn’t bunch up underneath things, but not, like, Uniqlo Heattech tight.”
Gap’s offering up to 60 percent off specific limited-time deals, which includes 20 percent off CashSoft and the matching separates for a sweatsuit moms love.
Everything at Hill House Home, home of the Nap Dress, is 25 percent off with the code EVERYTHING25.
Before Black Friday, J.Crew has a lot of sales happening, including on select full-price styles (a lot are at least 40 percent off, with prices already marked), 40 percent off most pajamas, and up to an extra 50 percent sale styles with the code EXTRA. (Phew!)
Our contributor Erika Veurink made the case for shopping at Lands’ End: “It feels cool to wear something that’s impossible to identify.” Or on sale (more often than not, it’s version of the Boat and Tote will be marked down). This Lands’ End sale is as good as it gets: up to 60 percent off sitewide.
Generally, stock at Nordstrom’s early Black Friday sale, with select styles up to 60 percent off, is low. Even the new markdowns are going quickly. Don’t dillydally!
