Tuesday’s reports indicate that Italian head coach Domenico Tedesco is the current frontrunner to replace Jose Mourinho as head coach of Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce are on the lookout for a new head coach to replace The Special One, who was relieved of his duties at the end of August after falling to a 1-0 aggregate defeat against Benfica in the Champions League play-offs, which cost the Turkish side a spot in the final tournament.

Ange Postecoglu had also been mentioned as a potential option, but he has since been announced as the successor to Nuno Espirito Santo as head coach of Nottingham Forest. Short-term former Milan boss Sergio Conceicao had also been mentioned in some reports last week.
Now, according to reports from Sky Sport DE, Italian head coach Tedesco is now the frontrunner to take over at Fenerbahce.

The latest updates from Sky claim that Fenerbahce and Tedesco are in advanced talks, and that the Italian is ‘set’ to become the new head coach baring any ‘extraordinary’ last-minute turns.
