Sydney Sweeney Went to Jeff Bezos’ Wedding To Make a Bajillion Dollars

Sydney Sweeney caught a lot of flak for attending Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice. A film actress attending the nuptials for a film studio owner? Preposterous! Next, you’ll tell me that people go to their bosses’ houses for cookouts. Haha, could you imagine?

Anyway, Sweeney’s trip was all business, and judging by said business, it was absolutely worth all the gossip of hooking up with Orlando Bloom based on one photo where they were 20 feet away from each other. When I saw the Us Weekly headline, there was no way to fault Sweeney for locking down her financial future. She’ll never have to work again!

The Emmy-nominated actress, 27, is “launching a lingerie line very soon,” a source tells Us Weekly.

“This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,” the insider shares.

Sweeney has the financial support of her new billionaire pal Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, whom the source says “invested” in the business venture. (Puck reported on Wednesday, July 9, that Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue, is backing the Euphoria star’s line. Coatue recently launched its Innovation Fund with a $1 billion injection from the family offices of Bezos, 61, and fellow tycoon Michael Dell.)

I don’t know much about money or investments, but if someone came up to me and said, “Would you like to get on the ground floor of Sydney Sweeney selling lingerie?” I’d probably sign over one of my kids. That’s not even a risk! That’s being handed a blank check.

Case in point: Last month, Sydney launched a line of soap made from her bathwater. It instantly sold out, and people have been selling bars on eBay for hundreds of dollars, if not one to two grand. The world is dark and full of perverts.

As for the people calling Sydney Sweeney a sellout, are you going to finance her next movie? Because I’m sure not unless Hollywood takes Dunkin points. I was going to use them on a croissant sandwich, so the script better be really good. I want to feel the emotion coming off the page, you get me?
