Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney is ready to branch out into entrepreneurship. She’s about to launch her own line of lingerie, and not alone: according to a source quoted in US Weekly the project has the financial backing of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. “This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,” says the insider. Perhaps this explains why the American was in Venice to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Bezos at the end of June.
According to a Puck report, Sweeney’s line is backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at the private equity firm Coatue. Jeff Bezos and Michael Dell, CEO of Dell Technologies, have invested $1 billion in that company. It’s a rare alliance between Hollywood glamour and technological power, as Shots Magazine points out. (VF has reached out to both Bezos and Sweeney for comment.)
This would not be Sweeney’s first foray into design. In 2023, she collaborated with Frankies Bikinis on a swimwear collection, which the brand called “the sexiest ever”. At the time, the actor said she was creating pieces that embodied “confidence and freedom”.

If the collaboration is confirmed, it might put rest to some rumors that swirled after Sweeney’s appearance at the wedding of the year. Megyn Kelly recently claimed that the actor was invited solely because of her looks: Sweeney is “the new toast of the town out there because she’s got these enormous breasts that everybody’s obsessed with,” she said on The Megyn Kelly Show.
But according to Page Six, the Euphoria star’s presence at the festivities had a more strategic purpose: she is allegedly about to star in an Amazon MGM production. While awaiting the release of her lingerie label, Sweeney is currently starring in Echo Valley, in cinemas since June 6.
