A total of 25 places were selected which the publication’s editors “would jump at the opportunity to visit next year”.
These spots were considered to offer values such as “innovation in conservation, astounding creativity, or a profound sense of human connection”.
They added: “We hope you’ll see the names not only of spots you have been waiting to visit (and consider this your sign to make it happen) but also of places you’ve never heard of.

Why is Sussex among the best places to travel to in 2025?
Condé Nast Traveller discussed the contrast between East and West Sussex as part of the reason it was selected, as each part offered so many different things to experience.
East Sussex was seen to have a “salty attitude” with Brighton as an obvious highlight, while Rottingdean was also highlighted.

Alongside that, it “has a reclusive side” in the quiet South Downs villages which people can explore.
Meanwhile, West Sussex offers a more artistic sound to the region including “brilliant shows guaranteed at Petworth’s Newlands House Gallery”.
Condé Nast Traveller added: “You can explore its coastline on the recently opened King Charles III England Coast Path from Shoreham-by-Sea to Eastbourne, but it’s inland where the action is.”
