Luke Francis, head postmaster of BudeÕs Post Office in Cornwall, took a special trip to Florida to deliver a 100th birthday letter to his special family member Emlyn Makofsky on the 21 January. Emlyn Colwill was born one hundred years ago, at Lewdon Farm in Kilkhampton on January 19, 1925. Growing up she became a nurse, working across North Cornwall, before moving across the pond and meeting her husband, Mr Makofsky.

Luke Francis, head postmaster of Bude’s Post Office, took a special trip to Florida to hand deliver a 100th birthday card from King Charles to his great aunt Emlyn Makofsky.

A grandfather who has gone viral on social media platform TikTok after his daughter filmed sweet videos of him crafting stained glass is now on a “crusade” to save the dying art form.

Roland Berry, 73, from Cheltenham, works as a heavy goods driver but his true passion lies in producing exquisite stained glass artwork.
