The Spokane Health Sciences Campus, the Office of Research, and the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences are teaming up again to bring you the Healthy Lifestyle Challenge: Thriving in the New Year 2025. Each day of this challenge you will be encouraged to be active, to engage in healthy nutrition and hydration, and to practice self-care and good sleep habits. You will also benefit from team motivation and support, weekly Zoom activities, presentations, and much more!

Healthy Lifestyle Challenge: Thriving in the New Year 2025

  • The challenge will run from January 13 through February 9, 2025
  • Participants will be randomly placed on a team (teams will be announced on January 10)
  • Each person can earn 10 points per day (Monday-Sunday), with a chance to earn bonus points
  • Participants who submit points each week will be entered into a weekly prize drawing
  • Daily points are in the following areas: workout/intentional activity (2), functional fitness (1), 6,000+ steps for the day (1), drinking plenty of water (1), healthy meals for the day (2), avoiding self-sabotage (1), getting plenty of sleep (1), and completing an act of self-care (1)
  • Kick-off Zoom event to meet your team and go over rules: January 10 from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m.
  • There will be a grand prize for each member of the winning team
  • Everyone who completes the four-week challenge will earn a finisher’s prize
