From the runway to the classroom, SCAD is pushing the boundaries of fashion and design. With campuses in both Savannah and Atlanta, the university’s top-ranked School of Fashion blends hands-on training and global exposure to prepare students for success in every corner of the fashion industry.
SCAD president and founder Paula Wallace shared, “SCAD FASHION again found its place in Atlanta as the industry’s front-row forecast for what’s next. This year’s SCAD runway show revealed conceptual couture from SCAD designers rewriting the language of luxury in real-time, from architectural silhouettes to meticulously engineered footwear, ball gowns, and creative casual wear.”
SCAD’s recent annual fashion show proved once again why the university has become a force in the fashion world, and not just in the south. Held in the courtyard of the Atlanta campus and livestreamed globally, the event brought together standout senior collections with 170 looks from 53 students whose work is all about celebrating individualism and innovation.

This year’s SCAD FASHION 2025 show opened with a soulful live performance by SCAD student Wayne Bucknor Jr., followed by a stately piano theme from Maxwell Park that set an elegant tone, and then a burst of trap drums kicked off the first look.
From sculptural outerwear to sustainable textiles, each piece shows off the designs of students who are ready to make their mark on the fashion world. More than just a runway show, it gives you a peek into the kind of creativity SCAD encourages all year long. It’s no wonder why students from around the world choose to study here.

It was clear the crowd was all in from the moment these SCAD student designers hit the runway—all earning their B.F.A. in fashion. Julianna Almandoz’s Caribbean-inspired puff sleeves and bold polka dots made a statement. Brooke Snowden stood out for her inventive use of baseball mitts, while Gabriella Sumbu fused Western wear with striking Congolese prints. And Torren Thomas turned heads with a daring hip-hop bridal collection that blended street style with high fashion.

SCAD is more than a university, it’s where tomorrow’s style icons begin their journey in fashion. Business of Fashion and Fashionista have noted the school as one of the best fashion schools in the country. With degrees in fashion design, accessories, journalism, and more, there’s a slew of options. Want to become the next big name in fashion?
