’Twas a look that would make Carrie proud, from the power clashing, to the heaps of accessories. (Parker added several bracelets, a gray quilted Chanel bag, and her signature shield shades.)
On the end of AJLT…, which called it quits with its third season, Parker said, “It was a difficult decision…I think it’s out of respect for this really singular professional experience that you have to consider what you want to do.” She added: “Sometimes it’s best to gracefully walk away when things feel really right and sort of energetic, versus squeezing and exploiting people’s generosity and hospitality.”
That said, Parker also added, “I’m not certain I understand what that decision means, because I could just be on hiatus.” So whether or not there’s more to Carrie Bradshaw’s story later on down the line, at least Sarah Jessica Parker can keep her fashion alive.
