- Samsung announces 4 September Galaxy Event
- New Galaxy S25 and tablets teased
- Expected to be Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 series
Samsung has announced a new Galaxy Event for next week, at which the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone and the Galaxy Tab S11 tablet should figure prominently.
Following last month’s rollout of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, the company has revealed that it will be holding a new ‘Galaxy Event’ on 4 September – that’s a week from today. It’ll be live streamed on Samsung’s website and its YouTube channel from 5:30AM EDT, which works out to a far more sociable 10:30AM here in the UK.
Samsung explains that this event will see the launch of “premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family”.
That’s pretty unambiguous confirmation that we’ll be seeing the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series announced, alongside the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE smartphone.
The company also claims that these new devices will set “a new standard for effortless productivity through multimodal capabilities”. If you’ll permit us to offer a possible translation, it’s that Samsung will be putting its current AI obsession towards getting work done on its new flagship tablets.

What we know about these new Galaxy devices
Both the Galaxy Tab S11 range and the Galaxy S25 FE have been heavily leaked in recent weeks.
Last week we reported on leaked renders of the flagship Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, with its weird curved notch and its lack of an S Pen mounting.
Just this week, meanwhile, we saw news of an accidental retail listing for the Galaxy S25 FE, which points to a slimmer, lighter device than the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. It might not be all that much of an improvement in other respects, however.
For US customers, Samsung also took this opportunity to announce a $50 credit for anyone who reserves one of its new tablets.
