Ukraine’s parliament canceled Friday’s plenary session due to the threat of a possible attack on Kyiv’s government district, according to lawmakers.
While the Ukrainian capital is attacked near-daily by Russian forces, this is the first such move by the legislature in recent months. It follows alerts issued by several embassies this week due to extraordinary threats, which were followed by Moscow’s Thursday attack on Dnipro, one of the country’s largest cities, with an experimental intermediate-range ballistic missile.
