9th March 2025 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong actress Ada Choi has reportedly raised eyebrows regarding her 17-year marriage to Zhang Jin, following recent public sightings that suggest potential strain in their relationship. Choi was seen enjoying a day out in Stanley with close friends, actresses Catherine Hung and Monica Chan, and later spotted shopping alone with her children.
Adding to the speculation, during a recent show hosted by comedian Bob Lam, Choi sent a floral tribute solely in her name, omitting Zhang’s, which has intensified public scrutiny.
In a candid online appearance, Choi revealed that she has shed countless tears over her husband, admitting that their relationship is not as harmonious as it appears to outsiders. She shared her experience of living in Shanghai during the COVID-19 lockdown, where Zhang’s work commitments often kept him away from home, leaving her to care for their three children alone. This situation left her feeling unsupported and overwhelmed.
Choi expressed her desire for emotional reliance on her husband and recounted a particularly disappointing birthday when Zhang fell ill, shattering her plans for a celebration and leading her to break down in tears at a park.
