Gian Piero Gasperini has named his 22-man squad for Roma’s final pre-season friendly match against Frosinone.
There is good news for the Giallorossi as Paulo Dybala has returned to the squad, alongside Evan Ndicka. This is a huge boost for Gasperini’s side as they look to have recovered two key players moments before the real season begins.
Goalkeepers: Vasquez, Zelezny, Svilar.
Defenders: Rensch, Angelino, Ndicka, Celik, Hermoso, Mancini, Wesley, Lulli, Ghilardi.
Midfielders: Cristante, El Aynaoui, Kone, Baldanzi, Pisilli.
Forwards: Dovbyk, Ferguson, Soulé, Dybala, El Shaarawy.
Meanwhile, Roma target Bailey absent for Villa
Meanwhile, Roma-linked Jamaican winger Leon Bailey is absent for Aston Villa’s Premier League opener against Newcastle.
With the former Bayer Leverkusen forward not having been selected, this only adds more fuel to the fire amid suggestions he could join Jadon Sancho in a move to the Italian capital.
