Rochester, N.Y. — Local boutiques and designers embraced their edgier side during “Prism,” a runaway show put on by Fashion Week of Rochester.

The fashion show part was put on in support of the general runway and homeless youth programs at the Center for Youth.

Fashion Week Rochester works to provide critical funding to the center to provide safe and stable housing to vulnerable young people in our region.

“Tonight, funds are being raised for our smallest shelter for 12-17-year-old young children, boys and girls, a shelter it’s an emergency shelter,” said Elaine Spull, the executive director for the Center of Youth. “So, it’s a very important night for us, fashion week, and the Center for Youth.”

Fashion Week of Rochester is returning from Oct. 9 – 11.
