Roderick Williams will join the Carducci Quartet at the Wiltshire Music Centre on Sunday, September 28.
The concert will feature Williams’ arrangement of Franz Schubert’s ‘Die schöne Müllerin’ and a string quartet by Fanny Mendelssohn.
The event will run from 7.30pm until 10.30pm.
Roderick Williams, one of the UK’s most sought-after baritones, will join the internationally acclaimed Carducci Quartet for his own arrangement of one of Franz Schubert’s most powerful and enduring song cycles, Die schöne Müllerin.
This will be paired with an overlooked quartet masterwork by fellow German romantic composer, Fanny Mendelssohn.
