Ross Franklin, the Founder and CEO of Pure Green, made his rounds across the fitness industry during his early entrepreneurial years. He specialized in turning around struggling gyms and opened and managed high-end health clubs. This line of work gave him a broad perspective on the industry. He saw how good nutrition could play a foundational role in allowing people to reach their health and fitness goals.

Much like how he helped the gyms he worked with rebrand, he sought to give healthy eating a new and more appealing image. In 2014, he started Pure Green, a juice bar chain that takes a science-minded approach to nutritional eating.

In 2016, two years after its founding, it expanded by launching a wholesale division, now counting over 90 professional sports teams as clients. The juice brand also operates 60 stores nationwide, with plans to open 140 more in the near future.
