Readers respond: Harm Amazon, not Post, over Bezos decision

I read The Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos’ defense of his decision not to endorse and find his excuses hollow. Who does he think he is to tell us – the newspaper-reading public – what we should get from reading the paper? His micromanagement of The Washington Post editorial board is disingenuous.

Disappointingly, the reaction of many people is to drop their Washington Post subscription. That plays into the hands of the oligarchs who want to control your life and feed you pablum. I’m not cancelling my subscription. It is one of a diminishing number of good newspapers left.
