Three plays after the fumble recovery, Smith connected with Michael Mayer for a four-yard touchdown pass. This was Mayer’s first touchdown catch since Week 15 of 2023.
Following a Devin White interception to end the first half, the offense went on a 13-play, 70-yard drive down the field to start the third quarter. The Raiders’ rookie running back was the focal point of the drive, racking up 42 scrimmage yards on nine touches and capping it off with a three-yard touchdown run untouched up the middle.
The Titans wouldn’t post points on the scoreboard until late in the third quarter with a 46-yard field goal made by Matthew Wright.
They wouldn’t score again until the fourth quarter on a 1-yard touchdown pass from Ward to David Martin-Robinson.
The icing on the cake for the Raiders was a fumble recovery by Thomas Booker IV after the ball slipped out of Ward’s hands in the final seconds of the game. As the Raiders got in victory formation and took a knee, it marked their first home victory of the season.
