OpenAI has announced that a Peloton app integration is coming to ChatGPT later this year.
The news was shared as part of OpenAI’s major update unveiling apps inside ChatGPT; a new feature that lets users interact directly with partner platforms through natural conversation.
While no specific launch date for Peloton in ChatGPT has been set, the integration is expected to allow ChatGPT users to build training plans, search Peloton classes, and work with ChatGPT to find out how Peloton can help members achieve their fitness goals.
Once the integration is live, ChatGPT users will be able to discover and use the Peloton app inside their actual chat window.

For example, someone might ask ChatGPT to create a weekly workout plan that combines cycling and strength training, or find a yoga class for recovery after a long run. ChatGPT will then pull from Peloton’s library and offer various options, all within the conversation itself.
The integration will use OpenAI’s new Apps SDK, which enables developers to build interactive experiences inside ChatGPT that blend natural conversation with live data, visuals, and app functionality.
For Peloton, the upcoming ChatGPT integration represents another step in the company’s continued push into personalized content and artificial intelligence. The ChatGPT app will likely complement Peloton’s ongoing work in AI technology – such as its Personalized Plans and the recently announced Peloton IQ – by offering members a new way to set and manage their fitness goals through AI.
Peloton is among a group of companies slated to roll out ChatGPT apps later this year, alongside brands like AllTrails, OpenTable, Target, Uber, and theFork. These integrations will join the first wave of pilot apps already available in ChatGPT, including Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Figma, Expedia, Spotify, and Zillow.
OpenAI describes these new tools as “a new generation of apps you can chat with,” noting that they blend interactive elements – such as maps, playlists, and visual layouts – with conversational interaction.
The apps feature is available now to all logged-in ChatGPT users outside the European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, across all subscription levels. OpenAI plans to extend access to additional markets soon.

While details about Peloton’s ChatGPT app are still rather limited, the integration will likely offer a new way for members to discover, plan, and track workouts.
We will share additional details regarding the partnership as new information becomes available. In the meantime, you can read the full details via the press release.
