RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Outsiders Hair Studio and Salon is hosting its third Artown Installment of “Drag Me to Hair” where Outsiders’ stylists partner with local drag entertainers to create one of a kind couture outfits created using hair and other unconventional materials.
Meagan Roach, the salon’s owner, and John Bullard, a.k.a. Vertigo – a local drag entertainer and model, stopped by Morning Break to share how this year’s event will include food trucks, a live DJ, a drag show and a huge raffle with dozens of local sponsors.
Drag Me to Hair takes place Friday, July 25 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Outsiders Hair Salon (18 Winter Street, Unit B, Reno).
This year 100% of the raffle proceeds will be donated to Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori, which is a proposed public charter school in Reno, created in response to our community’s need for more schools that truly support the whole child. They are building a school grounded in research-based Montessori practices, designed to meet children where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally.
