This comes amid confirmation that the Azulones have secured the signature of yet another new player.
The latest to have put pen to paper on terms at the Estadio Coliseum? Javi Muñoz.
Midfielder Muñoz, for his part, spent this past season plying his trade in Spain’s top-flight, on the books of the eventually-relegated Las Palmas.
All told, between league play and the Copa del Rey, the 30-year-old racked up 38 appearances, chipping in with a goal and three assists along the way.
After Las Palmas were sent packing from La Liga, however, murmurs had long begun to mount that Muñoz could be on the move this summer.
And as alluded to above, on Friday, precisely as much has been confirmed.
