Diabetes can impact anyone. However, factors like family history and lifestyle can increase your risk for type 2 diabetes. Understanding your risk for diabetes is critical, especially for individuals in communities with higher rates of diabetes or at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Project Power is a no-cost program for adults 18+ that raises awareness of type 2 diabetes, promotes healthy lifestyle changes, and offers education for risk reduction and diabetes management. Project Power can help you reach your personal health goals through weekly
interactive lessons, small support groups, personalized health coaching, and more. You’ll be provided with critical resources and tools throughout the program.
ADA’s Project Power equips you with ways to make lifestyle changes and resources on weight management to lower your risk for type 2 diabetes and build healthier habits. Or if you’re already living with type 2 diabetes, help you manage it and thrive.
If you’re living with type 2 diabetes, know that having diabetes does not define you. Get empowered through Project Power to manage your diabetes or, if you’re at risk for type 2 diabetes, lower that risk.
