The CEO of the largest US chipmaker and market-cap leader, Nvidia, has pledged to maintain its presence in China and stressed the importance of global cooperation, while encouraging Hong Kong’s university graduates to join the company.

Leung took the opportunity to talk about his career, encouraging graduates to avoid ego and stay fresh. It was also revealed he had spoken to HKUST president Professor Nancy Ip Yuk-yu to prepare for his coming movie role as a neuroscientist.
Alongside the duo, the university also awarded honorary doctorates to Nobel laureate Michael Levitt and American mathematician David Mumford.
