Bachelor Nation got to know Natasha Parker on Season 24 of “The Bachelor” and again on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Natasha has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media and looking for love.
This week, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that she’s no longer using dating apps to try to find a match and shared what she’s doing instead.
In a new video online, she said, “Three reasons why I stopped the dating apps. Number one, I needed to work on my personal in-person energy. The attraction, the allure, how to draw someone in. It’s so much harder to do that on a dating app because you’re just texting.”
Natasha went on and shared, “Number two, it takes away the hunt. It takes away from you being somewhere and a guy seeing you, the preparation, the ‘What does he do?’ to really know if he’s a real, masculine man or not. Anyone can send a message online and then never follow up. Number three, the third reason is you start to feel bad about yourself [on dating apps] when you engage with someone and then they just disappear. But guess what? There’s a thousand other people that they can engage with.”
Natasha then dished on what she’s doing instead of using dating apps, and shared that she’s working on her “in-person energy.”
She said, “When you go out and you’re in the wild: you’re walking down the street, you’re on the train, you’re at a bar, you’re at a restaurant, whatever, honey, it’s just me and you in this room if I give you this soft gaze. If you’re not having the best luck and you need that in-person energy. You’re like, ‘Wait, every guy I’ve ever dated I’ve met in real life.’ Maybe we need to work on our in-person energy and not just bank on the dating apps. Because I was definitely guilty of just banking on that and not actually opening my energy when I’m out. My soft gaze, and we draw in. Happy soft gazing!”
Natasha captioned her post with one more piece of advice on how to step away from dating apps.
She said, “IRL just hits different. Try the soft gaze and practice having open energy and receiving energy that just flows next time you’re out in the wild.”
We always love hearing from Natasha and we’re wishing her the best of luck. We know she’s going to find her perfect match!
