A Hoboken man was cited in Pennsylvania last week after he drove his SUV onto a golf course and crashed through an icy pond, according to police.
Officers were called to the Lancaster Country Club in East Lampeter Township about 10:40 a.m. on Thursday on a report of a vehicle in a pond.
Arriving officers found the SUV half-sunken in an icy body of water on the golf course, East Lampeter Township Police said in a Facebook post.

Police later learned the 50-year-old man drove onto the property about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and onto a frozen pond, where he became stuck in chunks of ice.
The driver “exited the vehicle and walked away without reporting the incident and spent the night at a local hotel,” police said in a statement.
The man returned to the vehicle the next day and encountered police officers who were investigating the incident.
The man was cited under Pennsylvania law with “trespass by motor vehicle,” and issued a court summons.
