My 18 Favorite Fashion Deals At Nordstrom’s Fall Sale

Photo: Sale

Not to be out done by the October Prime Day frenzy, Nordstrom just kicked off their Fall Savings Event, offering discounts of around 25 percent (sometimes more) in categories across the board. There’s plenty of great deals to be had, but, because I’ve personally never relied on Amazon for wardrobe replenishment, and because I’m still in buying mode, it’s the fashion I’m most interested in. To that end, I’ve combed through the offerings and rounded up my favorite pieces below, from pants and shirts to bras and bags. The sale ends October 15, but that doesn’t mean things won’t sell out sooner, so it’s a good idea to get in early.

You can never have too many good bras. This one, from a Strategist-favorite brand, is underwire-free, shapely, and on sale in black and tan colorways.

These jeans are comfortably oversized without being sloppy, and they’re made of 100% cotton (zero stretch), which means they’ll hold their shape. Pair them with some suede boat shoes (as shown) for a very fall-appropriate look, but they’ll also look great with some flip flops in summer.

I take my exercise in many forms, and I want workout gear that holds up through all of it. These leggings work equally well for an all-breathwork yoga class and a long run.

You can also never have too many perfectly oversized Oxford shirts, as far as I’m concerned.

And if you want the classic button down vibe but with a bit more zhuzh, try this crisp poplin top with an exaggerated Peter Pan collar and balloon sleeves.

Primary is known primarily for their well-made kids’ basics, but they have some great adult-sized options, too.

I personally love Vince cashmere — it’s soft and relaxed, and fits more like a slub cotton tee than a thick sweater. I also really love the longer-length sleeves on this classic crewneck.

Because if it’s sweater season, it’s also sweatshirt season.

It’s a two-for-one outfit, but you can also style each piece separately.

It’s a classic peacoat, but the crop gives it a ladies-who-lunch vibe. I also think it would look great worn on top of the slip dress above.

Barbour coats and trench coats are both classics, so a Barbour trench coat is basically a must-have.

These boots have a Khaite vibe in looks, but not definitely not price.

I’d pair these chunky moto boots with the aforementioned slip dress-and-cropped peacoat combo.

This minimalist leather bag falls somewhere between a more conservative work tote and a slouchy hobo, and is big enough to hold all of my daily essentials (laptop and water bottle included).
