At Novi’s Suburban Collection Showplace, 200 vendors will fill the halls from September 26-28 for the Metro Detroit Women’s Expo. The event mixes local writers, pet adoption shows, and ways to help the community.
Michigan’s small businesses and charities take center stage during this three-day event. Friday night brings “Blingo After Dark” bingo games, while “Authors Alley” welcomes 20 writers from across the state. Each brings their own stories and books to share.
“This isn’t just a shopping event, it’s a weekend of connection, celebration, and community,” said Sarah Chave, Chief Operating Officer of Kohler Expos, according to ClickOnDetroit.
Guardian Angel Animal Rescue puts on the PAWJECT RUNWAY Dog Fashion Show. Rescue pups walk the stage, winning hearts and finding homes with new families. Each dog brings its own charm to the catwalk.
A bright pink police car from Novi stands ready for photos at the Believe in Miracles booth. This group works hard to support kids facing tough medical battles. Next door, Angelz of Grace wraps gifts to raise funds for their work in town.
Carmen Flores, CEO of Kohler Expos, said: “We’re proud to spotlight the causes, creators, and courageous women who are shaping our region’s future.”
