Media celebrities to compete in archery contest for charity donations

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. (WNEM) – Mid-Michigan media celebrities are competing in an archery contest to win money to donate to the charity of their choice.

Bronner’s Hot Shot Local Media Celebrity Archery Contest will feature the following media celebrities:

  • TV5’s First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chris Easlick for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation
  • Tom Lounsbury with the Tuscola County Advertiser for Great Start Tuscola’s Imagination Library
  • Yvonne Daniels with WTLZ KISS 107.1 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
  • Johnny Burke with 103.9 The Fox for the Hurley Medical Center Breast Cancer Navigation Program
  • Daniel Balzer with Family Life Radio for Youth Haven Ranch
  • Bob Johnson with MLive/The Saginaw Times/The Bay City Times for the Saginaw African Cultural Festival.

The media celebrities will be competing to win a grand prize of $2,000 for their charities on Feb. 7 at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, located at 25 Christmas Lane in Frankenmuth.

The preliminary round begins at 10:30 a.m. at the south entrance. Bronner’s invites everyone to attend and cheer on their favorite media celebrities. The archers will receive five points in the preliminary round for each fan who attends and registers their support before the start of the contest.

Three of the contestants will advance to the final round, and the winner will be awarded the grand prize for their charity. The two runner-ups will get checks for $750 for their charities, and those who did not advance will get $500 for their charities.

This event promotes Bronner’s Be My Valentine Sale.
