KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The initial batch of celebrities coming to Kansas City for Planet Comicon has been unveiled, and it’s sure to be a star-studded event.
Planet Comicon Kansas City, the nation’s largest and longest-running independently owned comic book and pop culture event, listed the following actors set to attend during the weekend of March 21-23, 2025.
- Mario Lopez – TV host and actor, famous for his role as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell.
- Tori Spelling – Actress and pop culture icon from the hit series Beverly Hills, 90210.
- Brian Austin Green – Fan-favorite actor known for his role in Beverly Hills, 90210 and appearances in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

- Pam Grier – Film star celebrated for her groundbreaking roles in Coffy, Foxy Brown, and Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown.
- Katee Sackhoff – Actress known for her roles as Bo-Katan Kryze in The Mandalorian, Lieutenant Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica and unforgettable performances in Longmire and Riddick.
- Elizabeth Berkley – Star of Saved by the Bell and the critically acclaimed Showgirls.
Last year’s record-setting event was one of the most attended events in Kansas City Convention Center history, according to a release. For ticket information, click here.
Guests in recent years have included the Sith Lord himself, Ian McDiarmid, and Henry Winkler, as well as William Shatner and Giancarlo Esposito.
