NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Millions of Americans have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Both are risk factors of heart disease and stroke.
Dr. Khushbu Janani with Hartford HealthCare and Soundview Medical Associates explained when blood pressure should be monitored more closely and how often and which cholesterol number matters the most.
Janani also talked aboout the most effective non-medical intervention to lower blood presure and cholesterol and at what age should someone screen for both.
