A man who rang the police emergency hotline for help on Thursday saying he was being chased in a commercial building in Mong Kok fell to his death from its 22nd floor rooftop.
A police spokesman said the force was investigating whether there was foul play involved in the incident.
Police received a call at 10:43am on Thursday from a man who said he was being pursued. It remains unclear who had been chasing him.
The man later ran to the rooftop of the building and fell from it, according to police.
He was certified dead at the scene.
The spokesman confirmed to the Post that the building was the 22-storey Hanway Commercial Centre on No 36 Dundas Street in Mong Kok.
