Dean Lambert, known as Monkey Dix Adventures on YouTube, embarked on the “Seaside Shenanigans” ride around the UK coastline on September 13 to support Boot Out Breast Cancer (BOBC).
Riding his Honda CT125, affectionately known as “Kermit,” he faced challenging conditions, including fierce winds, relentless rain, and difficult terrain.
Throughout his journey, he relied on the goodwill of strangers, often camping in the gardens of supporters who offered him food, shelter, and encouragement.
Dean’s epic adventure has raised more than £3,000 for BOBC, a charity that provides life-saving equipment for NHS hospitals across England and Wales.
Dean said: “It’s been tough at times, but every mile was worth it.
“The people I’ve met, the stories I’ve heard, and the support I’ve received have been incredible.
“Knowing it’s all helping such an important cause kept me going.”
By completing his ride around the UK coastline, he has not only captured the hearts of many but also raised critical awareness of BOBC’s mission.
The founder of Boot Out Breast Cancer, Debbie Dowie, said: “We’re so proud of Dean and everything he’s achieved.
“His energy, humour, and determination have been infectious, and his journey has not only raised funds but also inspired so many people along the way.
“His endeavours serve as a testament to the extraordinary things ordinary people can achieve when united by a cause.”

Boot Out Breast Cancer (BOBC) was founded in Bolton with the vision that every penny raised goes straight into hospitals, with Royal Bolton Hospital benefiting, where Debbie received her treatment, after being diagnosed with the condition in August 2009.
The charity funds cutting-edge equipment that equips clinicians to diagnose and treat breast cancer more effectively, offering patients across England and Wales the best possible chance of recovery.
From specialist biopsy tools to advanced imaging machines, BOBC is propelled by the passion of fundraisers like Dean and the generosity of supporters.
