Made By Google 2025 – These Are the Pixel Devices I’m Most Interested in! – G Style Magazine

Today is the day! When it comes to the G Style team, this is my favorite time of the year. I always get a little pip in my steps when it is time to release new Pixle devices. While I’m still actively using the Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold (more on that in another post), Pixel Watch 3, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2…..I equally can’t wait to get my hands on what is next with the Pixel 10 line. So while there will be a million sites talking about the same thing all over today, let’s dive into personally what I’m most interested in this year……

Pixel 10 Pro Fold

While I still really hate that long name, this is the device I’m very much interested in checking out this year. And honestly, this is a far cry from a couple years ago when not only was I trying to answer the question of if the Pixel Fold was something I’d like, but was completely uninterested in foldables at all. However, when the Pixel Fold came out, it peaked my interest, but I decided I didn’t need a foldable. Then the Pixel 9 Pro Fold came, and completely turned me around on them. I loved using the Pixel Pro 9 Fold so much, not only did I think it was a worthy entry into the foldable genre, but I went from just reviewing it, to wanting to keep it in daily driver rotation past the review time

From the design, to the goodness of the Android OS experience, it was at this moment foldables got real for me. And it is because of this, that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has my full attention.

This year, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with the Tensor G5 chip, new colors Moonstone and Jade, and a first for a foldable with IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Also has Super Actua Flex Display, and new gearless hinge that Google is claiming can do 10 years of unfolding. When unfolded, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has an 8-inch display and 6.4 outer display when closed. Larger battery with 30+ hours of life, Qi2 charging built-in, and new accessories with Pixelsnap. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold has more to love and I’ll definitely be checking this out!

Pixel 10 Pro Line

Yes, the Fold has my attention, but don’t get it twisted, I still love the Pixel Pro line and any upgrade to the line is always welcomed. The Pixel 10 Pro comes in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade. Coming in two sizes 6.3 inches and 6.8 inches for the XL model. Powered by the Tensor G5 chip, and Gemini on board, this year the Pixel 10 line brings some very cool features. Here are a couple of them.

  • Enhanced Camera System: The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL feature Google’s best camera system yet, with an improved optical image stabilization module that has twice the compensation range. The Pixel 10 model has a 5x telephoto lens with 10x optical quality and up to 20x Super Res Zoom. The camera also includes new features like Auto Best Take, Pro Res Zoom, and an updated Panorama Mode.
  • Pro Res Zoom: Exclusive to the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pro Res Zoom can extend the zoom range to 100x with stunning detail. It uses the Tensor G5 chip and a generative imaging model to intelligently refine intricate details, making it the largest AI model ever used on a Pixel camera.
  • Magic Cue: This feature connects information across your apps to proactively suggest relevant information and actions. For instance, it can pull flight details from your itinerary and suggest sharing them in a message.
  • Camera Coach: Using Gemini models, Camera Coach guides you with tips on lighting and composition to help you take better photos.
  • Voice Translate: This feature translates phone calls in real time using on-device AI, allowing you to connect with people more naturally in their own language. It works with Spanish, German, Japanese, French, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, and Indonesian when translating to or from English.
  • Take a Message: For missed or declined calls, this feature provides real-time transcripts and uses advanced AI to identify next steps for you based on the message.
  • Google Photos Enhancements: Google Photos on the Pixel 10 makes photo editing easier by allowing you to describe the edits you want, such as “remove the reflections on the window” or “add clouds to the sky”.
  • Other Features: The Pixel 10 series supports Pixelsnap for built-in Qi2 wireless charging and magnetic accessories. It also has improved audio with exceptional bass. Every Pixel 10 phone has over 30 hours of battery life. Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL also have upgraded speakers, 16 GB of RAM, and faster wired charging. Additionally, Pixel 10 phones are the first to feature Material 3 Expressive, a new UI that offers more personalization and fluidity

Pixel Watch 4

I know I’ve got this 3rd on the list, but on the low, the Pixel Watch remains my favorite device I have with me all the time. From the time they released the first Pixel Watch, there’s been a Pixel Watch on my wrist every day since then. Now with the Pixel Watch 4 coming out, I can’t wait to check out the next step with this model. While I’m not a fan of yet another charging puck design, and having to change the existing stuff I have, I remain excited about the latest iteration. I use my Pixel Watch 3 extensively, but here are 5 cool new features coming to the Pixel Watch 4!

  • First-of-its-kind Actua 360 domed display: The display is physically curved, offering an edgeless appearance and a 10% larger active area with 15% smaller bezels than the Pixel Watch 3. It is also 50% brighter, with 3,000 nits of brightness, making it easier to see in direct sunlight.
  • Standalone emergency satellite communications: The Pixel Watch 4 LTE is the first smartwatch ever to support standalone emergency satellite communications, allowing you to connect to emergency services when off the grid. This feature is included at no additional charge for two years after activation.
  • New AI health coach: The watch introduces a personal AI health coach, built with Gemini, that provides proactive fitness and sleep coaching. This coach is uniquely tailored to your goals and real-life circumstances based on your watch’s metrics.
  • Longest-lasting battery with faster charging: The battery life is up to 40 hours on the 45mm model and 30 hours on the 41mm model. The watch also charges 25% faster than previous generations, reaching 50% charge in just 15 minutes.
  • Gemini integration: Gemini, your on-wrist AI assistant, is now more accessible with the “Raise to Talk” feature, so you can get help hands-free. The watch also has a new custom speaker and stronger haptics to enhance the experience with Gemini.
