M5 cameras caught woman speeding near Worcester six times

Rosie Putnam, 23, was caught repeatedly breaking a temporary 50mph speed limit as she travelled between junctions 6 and 4a.

She pleaded guilty to all six incidents of speeding, receiving three points on her driving licence for each one.

Putnam, of Alcester Road, Finstall, has also been fined £306 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £122.

She avoided being disqualified from driving by claiming she would be unable to get work and would be unable to take her husband to work if she wasn’t allowed to drive, claiming this would result in a total loss of income for their household.

She also said that a driving ban would mean she would be unable to carry out her caring responsibilities to her grandmother.
