LIV Golf is back on UK soil this week, with the 2025 season swinging into the iconic JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire.
Fresh off their performances at The Open at Royal Portrush, big names like Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and others are set to bring the heat to Stoke-on-Trent.
Rahm, last year’s champion at this very course, edged out Joaquin Niemann, Cameron Smith, and Tyrrell Hatton by a single stroke after finishing 13-under-par. The Spaniard will be keen to notch his first win of the 2025 season and defend his title on familiar turf.
The JCB layout is no walk in the park, with its signature 17th, a 254-yard par-3 played over water to a slick island green, serving up drama and danger in equal measure.
Meanwhile, Talor Gooch arrives with momentum after clinching the title in Andalucia, as the LIV Golf calendar marches toward its next stop in Chicago at Bolingbrook Golf Club.
Here’s everything you need to know about LIV’s 11th tournament of the 2025 season in Staffordshire.

LIV Golf UK purse
Although LIV Golf tournaments boast a hefty $20 million individual prize pool, the overall purse reaches $25 million thanks to an additional $5 million earmarked for the team competition. The champion of the event will rack up $4 million with the runner-up earning $2.25 million and third claiming $1.5 million.
At LIV Golf Korea, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers took top honors, with each member of the winning quartet technically earning $750,000. However, that prize money is funneled back into the team structure rather than directly paid out to players.
Smash GC, who finished second, earned $375,000 per player under the same reinvestment setup, while third-placed Torque saw $125,000 per man returned to their team’s coffers. In essence, these bonuses support the squads rather than lining individual pockets.
