Niemann, 26, fired a stunning 8-under 63 to move to 14-under par in Rocester, England.
The Chilean now leads by six shots and looks assured of sealing a record fifth win of the season and a record seventh overall on the LIV Golf League.
Niemann is also cruising towards a first Individual Championship title.
Bubba Watson has continued some impressive recent play to move into solo second on 8-under par.
Caleb Surratt, Adrian Meronk and Paul Casey round out the top five on 7-under par.
But it’s all about Niemann with 18 holes left to play at the stunning JCB Golf & Country Club.
Niemann’s Torque GC are also leading the team event on 24-under par.
They lead defending LIV Golf UK team champions Legion XIII by three shots heading into Sunday.
