If you didn’t snag tickets to Linkin Park‘s sold-out show at the Intuit Dome for Saturday, Sept 13, fret not. A few activations are happening around Los Angeles that will make you feel like in the end, it doesn’t even matter.
Leading up to the band’s homecoming show, Linkin Park is launching the “LPLA” takeover with a series of activations, pop-ups, and collaborations with Los Angeles partners. According to a press release, the initiative was planned with the “group’s longstanding love for their hometown” and is an open invitation for fans to come out and support the businesses and partnerships that span fashion, art, lifestyle, cuisine and more.
The group is also launching the Linkin Park Phantom Label. This new merchandise line will kick off with a collaboration with SUAY, featuring a collection made from recycled materials, and a Pop-Up experience from September 11 through the 14th in-store at 905 Mateo St, Los Angeles, and launching online via a fan-seeded password key on September 12. The pop-up will also feature a collection of unique artist-designed posters from the band’s 2024-25 From Zero World Tour, which featured concerts around the world.
Linkin Park will also be continuing a longstanding collaboration with Brooklyn Projects, which dates back to the group’s early days. The new Brooklyn Projects x Linkin Park collaboration will be an exclusive capsule collection available in the Brooklyn Projects flagship store at 7427 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, Sept. 11-14. For more info on the drop and pop-up, visit the brand’s Instagram account.
The food activations and collaborations are also looking tasty.
Fans can start their day at Lamill Coffee, located at 1635 Silver Lake Blvd. Los Angeles, where the shop will serve a specialty Linkin Tonic, a zesty mix of espresso and citrus and offer an exclusive “LP Coffee Set” that includes a custom Lamill x Linkin Park tumbler and a limited edition 10-ounce whole bean coffee “LP Blend.” The coffee shop will offer the specialty drink and custom set in-store and online through Oct. 5.
The group has also teamed up with Dan’s Super Subs in the San Fernando Valley at 22446 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills, to serve special menu items from Sept. 11-13. Visitors can order “The LP Meal Deal,” which includes a collectible custom pin and souvenir cup combo. The menu features three items for a limited time, including “The From Zero To Eternity” – a unique variation of the popular “Flying Dutchman Sandwich,” “The Shinoda,” and the vegan sandwich, “The Emily.”
For dessert, fans can visit McConnell’s on 1456 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica, 12073 Ventura Pl, Studio City, and 317 S Broadway, Los Angeles. McConnell’s is collaborating with the band for the sundae of the month, the “Two Faced Sundae,” made with a scoop of sea salt cream & cookies topped with salted caramel and chocolate chunk cookie pieces alongside a scoop of chocolate topped with hot fudge and waffle cone pieces. The sundae of the month is available through Oct. 5.
Those who collect stickers from all five LPLA locations will get a chance to claim an exclusive pin and enter the LPLA sweepstakes, which will award unique prizes and a backstage suite experience at Intuit Dome on Sept. 13 for ticket holders. Fans can follow the map and read the rules at LosAngeles.LinkinPark.com.
On Sept. 5, 2024, Linkin Park reunited after a seven-year hiatus following the 2017 death of frontman Chester Bennington. The group released “From Zero,” featuring new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong of the Los Angeles-based band Dead Sara, and played a limited run of shows before embarking on their upcoming world tour, scheduled to run through June 2026.
