Lauren Sánchez has shared a vague statement about overcoming a rocky start in the year.

On Monday, February 10, Sanchez, 55, engaged to Executive Chairman of Amazon, Jeff Bezos posted a selfie on Instagram of herself on a helicopter with a cryptic caption.

In the snap, the former entertainment reporter’s side profile is visible as she looks out the window while wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a white tank top.

“Some years start with turbulence, but that’s just the wind reminding you to spread your wings,” Sanchez captioned her post. “Good to be back in the air…Here’s to flying farther than we ever imagined. 🚁🚀🤍.”

Fans and friends took to the comment section with positive sentiments for Sanchez.

“Every test, takes us further and we learn something about ourselves,” one person commented.

Someone else wrote, “Great to see you in one of your favorite seats 🚁 Rise above!!”

Kris Jenner left three red heart emojis in the comment section.

It is unclear what “turbulence” the former Extra correspondent was referring to in the post. She faced public scrutiny early in the year for her bold outfit that she wore to President Trump’s inauguration ceremony on Monday, January 20.

The former journalist donned an all-white look that featured a lace top under a low-cut white blazer with matching pants. Sánchez’s bold look sent the internet into a frenzy, with many people feeling the attire was inappropriate for the occasion.

While Sanchez did not directly respond to the controversy, she liked a few comments hyping her outfit up on one of her Instagram posts in January. The post featured photos of herself in her gown for the Starlight Ball (one of Trump’s many inaugural balls.)

The former entertainment reporter liked one user’s comment: “THAT GIRL 🔥 don’t let the haters bring you down! Only opinion that matters is your own and Jeff’s 💯.”

“You look absolutely stunning and early today at the inauguration.❤️🙌 You are truly an inspiration to me and I’m sure to Many Women,” read another comment Sanchez liked.
