A Lancaster County clothing retailer is expanding.
Filling’s Clothing is expanding into a space next door to its store at College Row at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster. The space was previously home to Lululemon.
The new addition will be called Dressed by Filing’s: A Dedicated Women’s Concept.
Construction is underway.
Filling’s is located at 661 Harrisburg Ave. Dressed by Filling’s will be accessible through the main Filling’s store and a dedicated storefront entrance on Harrisburg Avenue.
“The Filling’s name has always stood for confidence, craftsmanship, and service,” Ben Karl, owner of Filling’s, said in a news release. “With Dressed by Filling’s, we are giving women a space of their own – elegant, approachable, and thoughtfully designed – while ensuring it feels seamlessly connected to the Filling’s experience.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new addition will take place at 11 a.m. Nov. 14 with the Lancaster Chamber and Lancaster City Alliance.
Filling’s was founded in 1929. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Filling’s sells dress and casual clothing for men and women as well as jewelry, handbags, and other accessories.
College Row at Franklin & Marshall College is an upscale mixed-use development that includes approximately 50,000 square feet of retail and office space on the ground level, along with student housing for around 400 residents on the upper floors. It is located on the Franklin & Marshall Campus.
