
CLEVELAND – A program for first-generation college students will be staged Nov. 7 at Lakeshore College.
The “First Generation Event” will include a buffet lunch from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a panel of current first-generation students from noon to 1 p.m. The students will share their experiences and answer questions.
Topics of discussion will include finding time and money for college, addressing concerns among family and friends, and overcoming doubts about succeeding.

In addition to the panelists, Lakeshore College representatives will be available to answer questions about exploring careers, academic and personal resources, and financial aid.
The program will be at the college’s Cleveland campus, 1290 North Ave. Registration is requested but not required at gotoltc.edu/first-gen-event.
