It’s our turn.
The relatively snow-free days are coming to an end.
A strong Arctic cold front will cross northern Ohio Wednesday night into Thursday bringing with it gusty winds and some snow.
The National Weather Service says it may start out as rain, but as temperatures quickly drop to below freezing, a sudden burst of heavy snow is expected to drop an inch or so making driving tricky.

The high wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour in Greater Akron could create blowing and drifting of snow, the weather service says.
Some tree limbs could fall as a result of the wind gusts, the weather service warns, and power outages are possible.
The overnight windchills in the area could be in the single digits.
Snow showers — some enhanced by Lake Erie — are expected after the cold front passes.

The weather service previously listed Summit County under a Winter Storm Watch from Wednesday afternoon into early Friday; it is no longer in effect.
Summit County is now under a Lake Effect Snow Warning from 4 p.m. Wednesday through 4 a.m. Friday as some snow squalls could create hazardous driving conditions.
Anywhere from 2 to 5 inches of snow is expected in Greater Akron with higher amounts possible in northern Summit County.
The already battered lake effect counties along Lake Erie could get an additional 6 to 10 inches could fall.
Snow showers are in the forecast through Friday before things warm up slightly into the mid 30s on Saturday.
A high of near 50 degrees is possible by Tuesday.
What is lake effect snow?
According to the weather service, lake effect snow forms when cold air comes across the relatively warmer open waters of the Great Lakes and the “warmth and moisture are transferred into the lowest portion of the atmosphere.” At that point, when the air rises, clouds form and turn into a narrow band that can produce 2 to 3 inches of snow per hour or more.
