A new collaboration has been announced between “S’YTE,” a brand from the legendary fashion house Yohji Yamamoto, and Uzumaki, the iconic horror manga by Junji Ito.
This is the third partnership between S’YTE and Junji Ito.
This latest “Anti-Mode” collection will feature a new lineup of items, including special new artwork drawn by Junji Ito exclusively for this collaboration.
The new art depicts the Uzumaki characters Kirie Goshima and Azami Kurotani wearing Yohji Yamamoto clothing.
The visual model for the new collection is Ryohei Shima of the band “the dresscodes,” who is said to embody the “world of quietly spreading madness” that defines the manga.
To celebrate the launch, a special “S’YTE x UZUMAKI POP-UP STORE” will be held at “GATE” on the 1st floor of the Shibuya PARCO building in Tokyo.
An in-person, lottery-based signing event with Junji Ito himself will also be held at the pop-up on its opening day.
A wide range of apparel and accessories will be released, including a drapey coat featuring the new Kirie artwork with embroidered thread detailing, and a long jacket with new art of Azami.

The “S’YTE x Junji ITO -UZUMAKI- Collaboration Collection” is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, the 5th of November, via retail stores and through the Yohji Yamamoto online store.
The “S’YTE x UZUMAKI POP-UP STORE” in Shibuya PARCO will run from Wednesday, the 5th of November, to Thursday, the 13th of November.
