“There is no point continuing to fight any more,” said an emotional Duke of Sussex after losing his long-running legal battle with the government over his level of taxpayer-funded security in the UK.

But he continues to fight, on and on, while airing hopes of “reconciliation” with his family.

In round one, with his boxing gloves on, an interview with the BBC on Friday which was scathing of his family, the government and the British judicial system. Or, as he described the Court of Appeal’s ruling against him upholding previous decisions, “a good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up”.
