Irvine twins named winners in search for UK's cheekiest kids

Francis and Edith took home the UK title in the Partners in Crime category of the Petits Filous Mischief Makes Us competition, which set out to find the most delightfully mischievous children.

The UK-wide contest invited parents and carers to submit photos of their children caught in the act of mischief, celebrating playful curiosity and creativity.

The judges selected winners across five categories, with Francis and Edith recognised for their shared sense of fun and teamwork in the Partners in Crime category.

Ewa Moxham, UK head of marketing at Yoplait, said: “Mischief has long been misrepresented as troublesome and to be discouraged, but Petits Filous recognises it as an essential part of children’s development in order for them to thrive.”

The overall winner of the competition was Sophie-Mae from Slamannan, who impressed judges with her blue paint escapade, which saw her cover walls, furniture, and herself.

The Mischief Makes Us campaign aims to highlight the positive impact of playful behaviour on childhood development.
