The band will be hitting stages across the UK alongside singer Robin McAuley, best known for The McAuley Schenker Group, who enjoyed success in the late 80s and early 90s.
The tour kicks off at London’s Underworld and they will then play gigs in Blackpool, Crumlin, Stoke, Grimsby and Newcastle, before concluding with a show at Glasgow’s Classic Grand on August 16.
Stewartie said: “We’re blasting off from London on Thursday and landing in Glasgow on August 16. It’s gonna be a lot of loud rockin’ fun…!!!”
Girdle Toll man Stewartie hit the headlines back in 1987 when Lyin’ Rampant were tipped for success following the release of their debut album Up N Cumin.
Sadly, the band split in 1991, but their debut LP was later picked up by an Italian label and proved a big hit on the European hard rock scene.
