Irmo man arrested, charged for threatening President Trump

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – An Irmo man was arrested Thursday for threatening President Donald Trump.

Around Feb. 17, court records say Lang did knowingly and willfully make threats to take the life of, kidnap, and inflict bodily harm to President Trump.

According to court records, 47-year-old Travis Lang was arrested Thursday.

A judge denied his bond Friday after he entered a not guilty plea.

Lang will have a detention hearing scheduled for March 14th at 11 a.m.
