Between April and September 2025, mobile phone exports stood at $13.5 billion, compared with $8.5 billion during the same period last year, a growth of over 60%, the industry body said.
The United States, the UAE, Austria, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom were India’s top export destinations.
Shipments to the US surged from $3.1 billion in April–September 2024 to an estimated $9.4 billion in the same period this year, a rise of nearly 200%.
The US alone accounted for 70% of India’s total mobile phone exports, up from 37% a year earlier.
ICEA projects that India’s mobile phone exports could reach $35 billion in FY2025–26, up from $24.1 billion in the previous fiscal year.
