The broadband network, delivered by Fibrus, is supporting the county’s largest horticultural event by sponsoring the 2025 Cumbria in Bloom Presentation Days, which celebrate the achievements of communities across the region.
Mr Keith McIntosh, Chair of Cumbria in Bloom, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Hyperfast GB as the sponsor of this year’s Presentation Days.
“Their support not only enables us to celebrate the incredible achievements of communities across Cumbria but also demonstrates the real benefits businesses gain from aligning with our work.
“Sponsorship offers brand visibility, stronger community connections, and the chance to make a lasting environmental impact.
“We look forward to working with Hyperfast GB in making this year’s awards a truly memorable occasion.”
The presentation days will take place at Dalston Village Hall on Monday, October 13, The Beacon Museum on Tuesday, October 14, and Barrow Town Hall on Wednesday, October 14.
Hyperfast GB is contributing £2,000 through its Hyperfast Cumbria Connections Fund, which supports community projects across the county.
The fund has already backed more than 25 local causes, helping them expand their work and impact.
Ms Libby Bateman, Hyperfast GB’s External Stakeholder Manager, said: “The Hyperfast Cumbria Connections Fund is all about giving back to the communities we serve.
“We were invited to attend a presentation about the Eden District Scouts expedition and were delighted to hear about how much these young people benefited from the trip, developing skills that will stay with them for a lifetime.
“We know the difference that a little support can make to local projects.
“It’s inspiring to see the creativity, energy, and commitment of these groups, and we encourage anyone with a community project to get in touch with us.”
Cumbria in Bloom operates entirely through sponsorships and donations, relying on business support to fund school gardens, conservation projects, community parks, and floral displays.
Cumbria in Bloom has a long history of success, with many of its entries earning national recognition through the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom awards.
