Hyatt Hotels has entered into a management agreement with Wing Tai Properties Limited and CSI Properties Limited to launch Andaz Hong Kong Central, the first Andaz-branded hotel in Hong Kong. Scheduled to open in 2027, the hotel will anchor Central Crossing, a landmark mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street featuring premium offices, open green spaces, and preserved heritage architecture.
Part of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group, Andaz Hong Kong Central will feature 125 guestrooms and suites, a Living Room social space, all-day dining, and a modern fitness and wellness hub. Designed as a tribute to Hong Kong’s vibrant dualities, heritage and modernity, East and West, the hotel will immerse guests in the city’s creative and cultural spirit.
The development will also introduce the world’s first Andaz Village, a bespoke retail and lifestyle hub curating wellness experiences and gourmet brands.

The hotel will be located in Central, Hong Kong, the city’s dynamic business and financial district ,where leisure and commerce meet. The surrounding neighborhood is a nexus of culture and lifestyle, located steps from some of Hong Kong’s best restaurants and bars and centered between three renovated historic cultural complexes – Tai Kwun, PMQ and Central Market. The storied location also benefits from close connections to the city’s transport hubs through direct integration with the district’s central walkway system, with MTR and Airport Express stations within walking distance.
Hervé Mazella, Hyatt’s Area Vice President of Luxury for Hyatt Asia Pacific, will also take the helm of Andaz Hong Kong Central as General Manager. In this dual capacity, he will bring his extensive experience accrued across leadership roles at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Park Hyatt Tokyo and Andaz Bali, as well as diverse hotels across France, Monaco, the UK and the Middle East.

Andaz Hong Kong Central will be another addition in the continued expansion of the Andaz portfolio across the Asia Pacific. Other upcoming openings include Andaz Shanghai ITC, set to open at the end of this year amid Shanghai’s leading commercial neighborhood, and Andaz One Bangkok, scheduled to open in 2026, at the serene Lumphini Park as part of the prestigious One Bangkok development. In the second quarter of 2026, Andaz Gold Coast is expected to debut the brand in Australia and the Pacific as part of a world-class integrated resort development.
